The U.S. government has stepped up its prosecution of individuals evading taxes through off-shore bank accounts.
A top goverment attorney, Kevin Downing, said to Reuters that they would publicize new cases "every couple of weeks."
Due to a successful lawsuit in February against Swiss bank giant UBS AG, officials have been sifting through names of 250 individuals. U.S. banks that help their clients funnel money off-shore are also held suspect.
This push in prosecution coupled with an amnesty program that allows people to come forth with their off-shore accounts for a reduced penalty has marked a growing watch on tax evasions to off-shore accounts.
